With over 20 years of telecom and software experience, Scott most recently served as Chief Operating Officer of Calero Software prior to the merger with MDSL. Previously, he was Chief Information Officer at FirstLight Fiber, where the successful implementation of his systems and process methodology enabled the regional infrastructure provider to scale to nearly five-times its size within a 48-month span via aggressive acquisition and organic growth.
Scott also played a pivotal role in two highly successful private equity transactions while at FirstLight. Additionally, he has served as Chief Operating Officer of CornerStone Telephone Company and Chief Information Officer of Cleartel Communications. Scott holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Union College and a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Science from Hartwick College.
Andrew is responsible for leading both Calero-MDSL's direct and channel sales and customer success programs. By fostering a culture of collaboration and consultation in all phases of customer engagement, Andrew enhances Calero-MDSL's role as a trusted advisor and assures outcomes that exceed customer expectations.
Prior to Calero-MDSL, Andrew was the VP, Sales and Marketing for one of the original Managed Mobility Service providers, Mission Critical Wireless (MCW). Through collaboration and customer engagement, Andrew helped expand MCW’s business from a small regional player to a national player and ultimately a global player, which led to its acquisition by Digital Management Inc (DMI). Once at DMI, Andrew continued his role within DMI’s commercial division as VP, Sales helping DMI achieve Leader status in the Gartner Magic Quadrant. Additionally, Andrew has held multiple leadership positions within AT&T and Verizon Wireless. Andrew attended Miami University of Ohio.
Simon joined MDSL in 2003 as part of the Development Team after graduating from the University of Cambridge with an MA in Computer Science. He drove the development of a number of key technologies, including MDSL’s e-billing handler architecture, which led to the rapid growth of MDSL’s TEM offering.
He was instrumental in the design and implementation of the hosting architecture which plays a central part in the delivery of MDSL’s self-service product, and now has overall responsibility for aligning the company’s IT policy with its overall business direction.
David is responsible for Calero-MDSL's strategic product vision, development roadmap and go-to-market activities. David brings a wealth of experience in leading product management teams and taking a customer focused approach to strategic planning.
Prior to Calero, David led product management for CCC Information Services’ core technology platform where he launched their mobility and artificial intelligence product lines and achieved market-leading status in these areas within 18 months. He also served in a management consultant capacity with PwC and in progressive roles within product management and product marketing while at Accuity.
David holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management and a Bachelor’s degree in Global Studies with a minor in Mathematics from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
Simon joined Calero-MDSL in 2000 and has held various positions within the organization including sales support, account management, global support, and project management for both Market Data and Technology Expense Management implementations. Simon currently heads up the FinTech division utilizing his extensive experience in the market data management business, specializing in analysis and market data cost containment along with a technical understanding of market data delivery technologies.
Prior to joining Calero-MDSL, Simon held positions at Kleinwort Benson, Swiss Bank, UBS and Barclays Capital holding various senior positions in trading room technology and market data management. Simon enjoys playing golf, cycling and is a keen amateur photographer.
Steve is the chairman of the Calero-MDSL board and has more than 30 years of private equity, strategy consulting, and operating experience. He joined Riverside Partners as a General Partner in 2005.
Previously, Steve was a Managing Director of Audax Group, a private equity and mezzanine debt firm, and served as an Operating Partner at Texas Pacific Group. His operating experience includes serving as President of Harris Graphics, a $450 million printing press manufacturer, Executive Vice President and CFO of The Coleman Company, a $1.2 billion manufacturer of outdoor recreation equipment, and Executive Vice President, CFO, and CSO of AM International, a $1.2 billion graphic arts equipment and supplies manufacturer. Steve began his career in strategy consulting and was a Partner at The Boston Consulting Group.
Adam W. Hahn is a member of the board. He is a Principal of Oak Hill Capital and has been part of the firm since 2010. Mr. Hahn works in the firm’s Media & Communications and Services groups. Prior to joining Oak Hill, he was a member of the mergers and acquisitions group at Barclays Capital PLC. Mr. Hahn earned an A.B. degree, cum laude, from Harvard University.
Benjamin Diesbach is a member of the board. He is a Partner of Oak Hill Capital and has been part of the firm since 1987. Mr. Diesbach is responsible for originating, structuring, and managing investments for the firm’s Media & Communications group. Prior to joining Oak Hill, he was an Executive Vice President at The Taft Broadcasting Company. Mr. Diesbach earned a B.A. degree from DePauw University and an M.B.A. degree from the University of Cincinnati.
Chris is a member of the board. He brings 12 years of private equity and strategy consulting experience to the Riverside team, which he joined in 2011 as a Vice President.
Prior to joining Riverside, Chris was an Associate at Advent International, where he focused on investments in the industrial, industrial technology, and life science technology sectors. Prior to Advent, Chris worked at The Parthenon Group, a boutique strategy consulting firm.
Sanjeet is a member of the Calero-MDSL board and a Managing Director at SEP. He focuses on the firm’s hardware and software company investments and sits on the Investment Committee. Prior to co-founding SEP, he was a Principal at Silver Lake Sumeru, the mid-market investment strategy of Silver Lake and predecessor fund to SEP. Sanjeet has more than 10 years of investing and investment banking experience. He lends his strategic expertise to MDSL as a member of the Board of Directors.
Prior to joining Silver Lake Sumeru, Sanjeet worked in the Investment Banking Division at Goldman, Sachs & Co. in San Francisco, working with clients in industrial, technology, media, telecommunications, and healthcare sectors.
Joe has 35 years of technology industry experience, including more than 20 years in senior executive positions. Prior to the merger with MDSL, Joe served as President and CEO of Calero Software.
Previously, he was President & CEO of Thinklogical, the leading provider of high performance, multiple classification video and data distribution solutions for defense organizations worldwide. Before Thinklogical, he was the President & CEO of Vocollect, a premier provider of voice recognition-enabled computing solutions for mobile workforces. Additionally, Joe has held several executive leadership positions with Marconi, FORE Systems, Compaq Computer and AT&T.
Joe holds a Master of Science degree in Management and a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering, both from Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, PA.
