Charles has spent more than two decades leading growth-oriented technology organizations, most recently serving as President of Signature Technology Group, a Tech Data Corporation. He is a recognized leader in the software technology industry with a keen understanding of the marketplace, product innovation, and developing best-in-class customer solutions.
During his tenure as CEO and President, he led Signature Technology Group to triple its global revenue and employee base. Prior to 2011, Charles held senior leadership roles at Microsoft within the solution sales organization. He started his IT career as a consultant for IBM and then joined Insight Enterprises where he served as an officer while running the Small & Medium Business Division, as well as the Software Solutions Sales Division.
Charles is a native of Arizona. He received his Bachelor of Science in Marketing from Arizona State University and holds a Global Leadership Certificate from Thunderbird School of Global Management. Charles serves on the Board of Directors for Arizona-based Student Expedition Program (STEP). He also serves as an Advisor for both Allbound, Inc. and NeoLight Medical. Charles previously served on the Board of Directors for the Arizona Technology Council and the Scottsdale/Paradise Valley YMCA.
Simon joined MDSL in 2003 as part of the Development Team after graduating from the University of Cambridge with an MA in Computer Science. He drove the development of a number of key technologies, including MDSL’s e-billing handler architecture, which led to the rapid growth of MDSL’s TEM offering.
He was instrumental in the design and implementation of the hosting architecture which plays a central part in the delivery of MDSL’s self-service product, and now has overall responsibility for aligning the company’s IT policy with its overall business direction.
An accomplished financial executive, Tamara has over 20 years of global industry and public accounting firm experience. She currently oversees MDSL’s Corporate Finance and Human Resources divisions and is responsible for the examination of margins, growth factors, profitability, and cash flow for this multinational technology organization with more than 400 employees.
Over her career, Tamara has successfully built and led both public and private finance organizations, implemented complex financial systems, and directed various financings, mergers and acquisitions for her respective businesses. Before joining MDSL in 2017, she served as CFO of Phoenix-based Telesphere and VP of Finance at Vonage. She has also held leadership positions at both iLinc Communications in Phoenix and Arthur Andersen in Dallas and London.
A two-time Stevie® Awards winner, Tamara has also been a finalist for the Financial Executives International (FEI) CFO of the Year Award and been recognized by the Phoenix Business Journal as one of 10 Outstanding CFO’s. She received her Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Master of Science in Accounting from Texas Tech University and is a Certified Public Accountant. A West Texas native, she traded the Texas heat for the Arizona heat and has called Phoenix home since 2002.
Daman has worked in multiple technology organizations with a primary focus on telecommunications. He is a recognized thought leader in the space and is responsible for managed services and operations across the organization. Prior to MDSL, Wood was the lead executive for Vonage’s nationwide Service Delivery Operations. He also served as the head of operations for Telesphere, leading all operational aspects of the company before being acquired by Vonage in December of 2015. Prior to Vonage, Wood held senior executive positions within Telesphere, UNSi, Airband, and Sparkplug Communications.
Wood currently resides in Phoenix and holds an M.B.A. from Arizona State University, WP Carey School of Business. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Pre-Law and Engineering, with a Systems Engineering concentration from the United States Military Academy at West Point, where he served as an officer in the U.S. Army and AZ National Guard. Wood grew up in Paradise Valley, Arizona and was one of only a handful of Arizona candidates nominated for appointment to West Point by former Arizona Senator Jon Kyle.
With over 25 years of industry experience in enterprise software, Tom Feeley has been recognized as a top performing sales leader at companies such as Dun & Bradstreet, EMC and Oracle. He is a transformation agent that thrives on change and has been part of over 25 acquisitions, three of which as the acquiree. Most recently, Tom was a Regional Vice President of Sales at Coupa Software, a Gartner Leader in Procure-to-Pay solutions, where over the last 18 months he dramatically grew enterprise sales revenue in his region. Tom has developed a process for assessing sales teams for immediate impact and executing customer-centric strategies for both attracting new customers while increasing spend with existing customers.
Tom holds a bachelor of science in Marketing from Arizona State University and an MBA in Finance and Strategy from The Kellogg Scholl of Management, Northwestern University.
Aaron Zeper has 19 years of experience creating and leading highly effective teams focused on profitable market expansion and improved customer experiences. He leads MDSL’s marketing and new business acquisition strategy, including the advancement of their partner/channel program and overall go-to-market strategy.
Aaron comes to MDSL from CloudCover, where he served as Executive Vice President of Sales & Marketing. Prior to CloudCover, he served as Vice President of Professional Services, Sales and Marketing with Tech Data Corporation where he was named a CRN Channel Chief in 2017.
Simon joined MDSL in 2000 and has held various positions within the organization including sales support, account management, global support, and project management for both Market Data and Technology Expense Management implementations. Simon currently heads up the FinTech division utilizing his extensive experience in the market data management business, specializing in analysis and market data cost containment along with a technical understanding of market data delivery technologies.
Prior to joining MDSL, Simon held positions at Kleinwort Benson, Swiss Bank, UBS and Barclays Capital holding various senior positions in trading room technology and market data management. Simon enjoys playing golf, cycling and is a keen amateur photographer.
Kris Sleeper serves as the Director of Human Resources at MDSL. She is responsible for attracting and developing talent across the nine worldwide office locations and building a strong company culture through advanced learning and engagement initiatives. During her tenure at MDSL, she has implemented cutting edge HR technologies to enable management and overseen the growth of the company to more than 425 employees.
Previously, Kris held progressively responsible HR positions in the healthcare and hospitality industries, with the last 10 years being focused in small to mid-sized technology companies. Kris is a Texas native and currently resides in the Phoenix area. She holds an undergraduate degree in Psychology from Texas State University in San Marcos, Texas and a Masters in Human Resources from St. Edward’s University in Austin, Texas.
Mark has more than 17 years of experience in Technology Expense Management and is responsible for the overall roadmap of MDSL software and solutions. He has worked across several areas of the TEM and market data business including technical support, implementation, Market Data, and managed services. Mark is passionate about the expense management solutions and has a well-rounded vision of the marketplace, instilling industry-leading best practices across the MDSL client base.
After graduating University in Manchester and since joining MDSL in 2002, he has been instrumental in MDSL's TEM and FinTech services architecture, including moving the platform beyond simple telecoms and market data management into mobility, cloud, and other technology spend categories.
Ben is the Chairman of the MDSL Board and founded the company in 1995. He is recognized as an expert in the technology expense management industry and a featured speaker for numerous industry organizations around the globe.
Ben started MDSL with a vision to create an expense management solution for complex subscription services and telecom technologies used by global financial enterprises - an industry in which MDSL remains a leader to this day. The company manages billions of dollars of annual services and telecoms spend for some of the largest and most complex technology environments in the world. Through Ben’s leadership, MDSL created an “enterprise technology expense management platform” to support current and evolving technologies now and into the future.
Thierry is a 35-year veteran of the industry and a recognized pioneer in call accounting, mobility, and telecommunications expense management. As co-founder of Telesoft, Thierry realized the business need and impact of automating and simplifying the telecom expense management lifecycle. He has overseen the development of software solutions from infancy through Connect and expanded the platform’s capabilities beyond telecom into cloud, mobility, and IT management.
Thierry holds dual degrees in Computer Science and Math from Tel Aviv University in Tel Aviv, Israel and resides in the Phoenix area.
Kyle Ryland is a member of the board and Managing Partner of Sumeru Equity Partners where he focuses on leading investments in software and hardware companies. Prior to co-founding Sumeru Equity Partners, Kyle co-founded and served as Managing Director of Silver Lake Sumeru, the middle market investment strategy of Silver Lake and predecessor fund to Sumeru Equity Partners. He has over two decades of experience with private equity investments, venture capital, corporate finance, and mergers and acquisitions in the technology sector.
Prior to co-founding Silver Lake Sumeru, Kyle was a Partner at Shah Capital Partners where he was responsible for mid-market technology private equity investments. Before joining Shah Capital Partners, Kyle was a Managing Director at Lehman Brothers and the head of Global Technology Investment Banking, where he served as an advisor to a number of leading technology companies. Prior to Lehman Brothers, he was a technology investment banker at Robertson Stephens and also worked in the firm’s venture capital funds where he analyzed and executed venture capital investments.
George is a Managing Director of SEP software investments and is a member of the MDSL board. He brings three decades of operating experience and leadership in the technology sector.
Prior to co-founding SEP, George was Executive Vice President at HP, reporting to the CEO and member of Executive Committee. He was responsible for leading growth initiatives and alliance programs with key partners, service providers,and the largest customers. He led HP’s $4 billion software business that includes IT/Cloud Operations Management, Application Delivery Management, Enterprise Security, and HP Big Data.
George previously served as Operating Partner at Silver Lake, a global technology investment firm with over $26 billion of assets under management. He was responsible for driving growth and operational improvement in a wide range of enterprises within the company portfolio of the firm’s large-cap investment fund. George has significant expertise in building and managing technology businesses. He has held various leadership positions at technology and management consulting companies such as IBM, Corio Corporation (founder), Oracle, Booz-Allen & Hamilton and Xerox.
Sanjeet is a member of the MDSL board and a Managing Director at SEP. He focuses on the firm’s hardware and software company investments and sits on the Investment Committee. Prior to co-founding SEP, he was a Principal at Silver Lake Sumeru, the mid-market investment strategy of Silver Lake and predecessor fund to SEP. Sanjeet has more than 10 years of investing and investment banking experience. He lends his strategic expertise to MDSL as a member of the Board of Directors.
Prior to joining Silver Lake Sumeru, Sanjeet worked in the Investment Banking Division at Goldman, Sachs & Co. in San Francisco, working with clients in industrial, technology, media, telecommunications, and healthcare sectors.
Charlotte is the founder and CEO of Yates Ltd., a management consulting firm that works with key executives to optimize and transform their organizations and technology environments to reduce costs and create competitive advantage. She is also a General Partner with the Seraph Group, a structured angel fund which invests in seed-stage technology companies spanning over 25 U.S. cities and three continents.
Charlotte has contributed to many industries including music, telecommunications, IT, management consulting, and venture capital where she has served in both an executive and a leadership capacity during her career. Prior to her current businesses, Charlotte was involved in growing, selling, merging, and divesting Telwares, a leading provider of next‐gen IT advisory and strategic sourcing to global enterprises. During her tenure at Telwares, Charlotte founded the CIO Global Forum, which provided a select group of Global 1000 business and technology leaders a unique “think tank” environment, focused on the education of C-level executives.
Charlotte runs an annual program for Harvard Business School and Young Presidents’ Organization called, “Success and Significance,” and serves on several corporate boards. She is an alumnus of the University of Florida.
Mark is a member of the MDSL board and a Vice President at SEP. Previously, he was an investment professional at Silver Lake Sumeru, the mid-market investment strategy of Silver Lake and predecessor fund to SEP. Mark has more than seven years of investing and investment banking experience. Prior to joining Silver Lake Sumeru, Mark worked in the Industrials Investment Banking Division at Goldman, Sachs & Co.
