By connecting directly to the turret management system (including IPC, BT and Etrali), the TTM links the TRID (Trader ID) to the telecom services the trader uses. This is then mapped to the button map (page, key, key label and LAC), and linked directly with all the telecom services documented in the central TEM inventory.
Organisations use the TTM to gain insight into exactly how services are used and accurately charge services back to the correct cost centres. By using it in conjunction with a suitable call-logging system, companies can also analyse usage to optimise the use of expensive long distance private connections, as compared to dialled call charges.
The TTM is also ideal for uncovering further opportunities to reduce costs by, for example, identifying unused or under-used circuits.
