The key purpose of Inventory Data Automation (IDA) is to allow clients to import and export a wide variety of data to and from the TEM solution. It works as a generic engine, which can be configured to import and export different formats, types and classes of data.

In addition, standard interfaces have been developed within the IDA framework to support the major classes of third-party systems with which MDSL TEM solution interact. Such IDA Interface classes include Call Loggers, Asset Management software, HR system, Traders Platform, VoIP and TDM switches, accounting software and ticketing applications.

Within each class, specific adaptations have been developed to support particular third party vendors.

IDA ensures that information can be gathered from different sources, from different locations and make sure that the MDSL Structure and Inventory is always up-to-date.

With an inventory baseline in place, you will be ready to apply automated processes to control, capture costs and communicate results. Activities include connection with the call loggers for precise outbound cost allocation, with PeopleSoft for HR information, with Remedy for inventory, with SAP for financial parameters and so on.
