Web Reporting

MDM features a suite of web tools that make it easy to post and access reports via our OnDemand service. The business unit manager or end user simply clicks on their desktop browser and selects the desired report from a menu. Access to specific reports and content can be restricted to designated personnel.

Powerful Management Reporting

MDM is shipped with an extensive array of pre-configured reports, including Cost per Desk, Permissioning Reports, Services Cross Reference and Billing Analysis. By using Crystal Reports, it is possible to produce custom reports without the need for additional desktop software. Reports can be displayed on screen, printed or exported into many popular file formats including Excel, Word, HTML, WordPerfect, PDF, and CSV. Reports can also be e-mailed or scheduled for automatic production and distribution. Our new System Reports feature provides an alternative method of viewing powerful reports in a browser interface.

MDM Interfaces

Working closely with market data vendors, MDSL has developed interfaces between MDM and all leading permissioning systems, including Reuters DACS, Bloomberg and TIBCO. Interfaces for reading and processing electronic vendor invoices, and for downloading data from your organisation’s human resources and other internal systems make it easy to populate and update the MDM database. The MDM DACS interface is now bi-directional and features "Push-to-DACS".

Usage Statistics

The MDM DACS interface now provides monitoring of service usage, and provides powerful analysis of the cost savings that can be made by removing unused entitlements.
