Training & certification

Whether you are a first-time user of MDSL or a telecom expense management veteran who wants to brush up your skills, MDSL training sessions offer the perfect opportunity. You will receive comprehensive, hands-on training in an interactive and collaborative environment.

Training sessions are provided in our offices in London, New York or Tokyo, or alternatively delivered at the location of your choice and range from one to five days in length. To ensure that students get the most out of these training sessions, enrolment numbers are limited.

Successful participants are trained to certification level, giving them a transferable telecom expense management skill to the growing number of enterprises who are using MDSL solutions. Certification also reassures enterprises when they are looking for key staff and need to know they can work with TEM.

Administrator training

MDSL’s Administrator training is a comprehensive, hands-on set of training programs in which participants learn and practice setting up, configuring and maintaining MDSL solutions for optimal results. Participants receive expert instruction on MDSL functionality and telecom expense management best practice and put the training to work by setting up and configuring MDSL solutions in a series of hands-on exercises.

• MDSL Fundamentals

  This covers introductory MDSL concepts, terms, and setup. Administrators learn how to navigate the MDSL application, search for information, modify personal settings and find additional help, as well as perform other basic tasks.

• MDSL Intermediate

  This covers the basic setup. Users learn how to define their company’s profile, set up and administer multiple currencies, manage users, understand user profiles, set up their company’s role hierarchy, define the data security model, and manipulate data using various tools.

• MDSL Advanced

  Recommended for MDSL system administrators, this course covers advanced customisation of the MDSL application. Users learn how to create custom fields and customise page layouts, as well as perform other advanced administrative tasks.

Report Analyst training

Recommended for users who are interested in generating reports to analyse MDSL data, this course covers the fundamental concepts of creating and analysing organisational data using the MDSL Report Manager. Users will learn how to create reports to strategically analyse spending trends, cost centre allocation, cost per vendor, event reports and documents.
