The World Leader in Mobility has Selected MDSL for their Global TEM Solution

MDSL has been selected to control telecom cost worldwide over 75 countries and 5 continents.

Paris - London - New York - Tokyo - Macau - May 2008. MDSL, the leading provider of Telecommunicationsexpense management (TEM), today announced that the world leader in mobility has selected MDSL's TEM soluition to help manage global telecom services over their 75 countries. With more than 80% of telecom services dedicated to mobility the company wanted to control the complete life cycle of telecom management. The first step and probably the most important in controling mobility is the set-up of a web end-user portal to ensures fast and easy request for new services. With more than 100,000 mobiles distributed around the company, it is important to control the ebb and flow and ensure that the global inventory of services is properly updated and controled.

In addition to eProcurement services, invoice processing was as usual a very important part of what the company wanted to do. Everyone is aware that the mobile market in Europe and Asia is very fragmented and that Roaming charges take the lion part in the overall bills. Due to roaming charges but also to the increase of mobile data services, MDSL is recently encovering some important mistakes in mobile bill that can come up to 24% of the total amount of the invoices.
