An American stockbroker based in three continents has chosen MDSL TEM solution for managing their wireless fleet

London – New York - Tokyo – February 12, 2006 – MDSL, the leading provider of OnDemand cost management solutions, today announced that an American Based stockbroker firm has chosen to deploy MDSL TEM and RPM (eProcurement) tool for managing its global mobile fleet.

MDSL’s eProcurement Web portal (RPM) will allow employees to request their own devices and services based on the company’s contract and terms set in advance by IT and procurement administrators. The portal also helps automate processes such as device upgrades, service plan changes and security issues.

The company has chosen the MDSL TEM solution to help them relieve their logistical and financial nightmare. The use of wireless devices has mushroomed inside the company, and managing all the cell phones, Blackberries and personal digital assistants has become a real headache. Furthermore, managing seven different vendors, one in each country, created financial control mayhem.

The eProcurement solution coupled with the TEM application ensures that employees are only requesting new services from a single source which will be controlled by central procurement, and takes advantage of the company’s negotiated discounts. Furthermore, each invoice will be automatically uploaded from local countries to the central TEM solution allowing immediate invoice validation and precise cost allocation.

The company will treat wireless devices like any other technology, with clear-cut policies that allow employees to use the technology they need but that also demand a close accounting of who has what device and how they're being used.
