MDSL Cited in Earth Day 2010 Release Highlighting TEM as Green

London, New York, Tokyo, Macau and Paris, April 30, 2010 - MDSL, the leading provider of international telecom expense management (TEM) and market data management (MDM) solutions, was cited in an Earth Day news release highlighting TEM as a green initiative that helps companies save money and the environment.

The release, by industry advocate TEMIA, indicated that most TEM programs are justified based on telecom cost savings, but it is important that organizations recognize that the benefits go far beyond and extend to the paper, ink and fuel consumed to deliver paper telecom bills.

Added Simon Thomson, COO America, said, “One of the first initiatives that MDSL undertakes with any new client is to transition them from paper to electronic billing. For a large multinational with over 80,000 employees, we now process more than 50 percent of their global telecom spend via e-bills.”

Begun in 1970, Earth Day is observed each year on April 22 in more than 175 countries around the world as a way of inspiring awareness and appreciation for the environment.
