MDSL Opens New Asia Support Office in Macau

MDSL - The leading technology expense management experts expand their global operations by opening a second support office in Asia.

London; New York; Tokyo; Macau; Stamford, CT November 7, 2007 – MDSL, the leading provider of OnDemand market data management (MDM) and telecommunications expense management (TEM) solutions announces the opening of a new sales and support office in Macau.

Macau, a Special Administrative Region of the People's Republic of China, is located on the coast approximately 40 miles southwest of Hong Kong and is connected to China's Guangdong Province. The MDSL Macau office was officially opened on 1st November 2007, however set up will continue through December and full help desk operations will commence from January 1 2008.

Ben Mendoza, CEO of MDSL, said "MDSL has a reputation to maintain for providing great customer support globally. For many years we have operated dedicated customer care centres in London, New York and Tokyo, but over last year we have seen a marked growth in customer activity across Asia. The establishment of the Macau office is our response to that growth. We see a number of new opportunities emerging for MDSL in the region, especially from China. The new Macau office will house a further dedicated help desk and ASP support team ready to meet the growing demand."

Andrew Evans, former Head of Treasury at Bank Austria, London joins MDSL as Operations Director in Macau, said: "It is clear from local customer feedback that there is a growing requirement for MDSL to be able to supply 'managed services' to our Asian customers. This could range from assistance with their initial deployment, through to complete outsourced management of their market data and telecoms expense systems. It is our intention to build a centre of excellence here in Macau and we are actively recruiting and training support and consulting staff."
