The Reform Club was established in 1836 in the wake of the political activity and ideas which found expression in the passing of the Great Reform Act of 1832. The Clubhouse, opened in 1841, is a grade I listed building of outstanding elegance and major architectural significance, and was designed by Sir Charles Barry, who created the Palace of Westminster.
